December 26, 27, 28, and 29 - Mexico City, December 31st , 2008, January
1st , 2009 Oventik_Chiapas - January 2,3,4 and 5 - Saint Cristobal de las
Casas_Chiapas. Ten days of roaming and nomadic moves across Mexico. The
First Worldwide Festival of Dignified Rage promoted and brought to life by
women, men, children, and older people of the Zapatista Army for National
Liberation, to which artists/rebels/people in struggle throughout the
world have contributed.
This documentary on "Dignified Rage" was produced by Riot Generation
Video/ Margine Operativo. It recounts the incandescent magma of visions
and struggles that flowed into the festival. It describes the
distinctiveness of an autonomous and independent festival shaped by a
variety of languages, conflicts, artistic codes that choose to be from
below and on the left. Ten dense, extraordinary days that have drawn a
calendar and a geography of the struggles and perspectives of the
movements across the world, and that they have designed a map of the
possibilities.

The Ya Basta! Association promotes
international cooperation projects from below in Mexico, Ecuador,
Argentina, Brazil, Palestine, organizes awareness and solidarity caravans,
supports independent commerce by importing the Zapatista Rebelde coffee
and organizes health brigades to support the development of an autonomous
Zapatista health system.
Margine Operativo is an independent multidisciplinary artistic project.
It acts on various levels: it produced theatre shows and performances, it
creates multimedia events and it make videos, television formats and live
set videos.
Riot Generation Video is Margine Operativo's visual project. The core set
